Okay, my seagate external hard drive has started to produce "the click of death", so failiure is imminent.
Any techies, or those that back up large amounts of data for years [photographers, digital artists etc].
What drives do you suggest I look at that have a good reputation [been around a year or two so I can see if there have been many horror stories]. Not brands, but specific models. All drives are prone to failure, but some specific ones [like my seagate model] was likely sooner or later, going by what's happened to others who've had them.
Any ideas?
